How to Make a Drawing of a Car Drift

    • 1). Outline the body of the car by placing your pencil on the paper at the nose of the car. Draw around the body of the car in a clockwise or counter-clockwise fashion. The line should move horizontally over the hood of the car, then incline somewhat at the windshield, leveling to a horizontal line again over the roof of the car, dipping down at the rear window, leveling out to a horizontal line over the tail, then dropping to a vertical line at the rear of the car. The line under the body of the car should be horizontal except at the tires, where the line will move around the tires in a semicircle. Next, draw the tires and the square of the side window. Draw a sliver of the front and rear windows, which will only be slightly visible from the side of the car, an add any details to the car that you feel are necessary.

    • 2). Draw two or three horizontal lines under the bottom rear of the car, parallel to the bottom of the car. These lines should be protruding out the back of the car.

    • 3). Put your pencil on top of the rear tire. Starting at the top of the rear tire, draw a bouncing line shaped like a cloud coming out the back of the car. The cloud should start at the tire and move up and back, behind the car. At its height, it will be taller than the car, and then it will drop back down. Draw the bouncing line down around in a circle until it meets with the horizontal lines you drew in step 2. You have just drawn the cloud of smoke coming from out the back of the car.
