- 1). Open the glove compartment on the passenger-side front seat.
- 2). Push back the safety latch on the outside of the right side of the glove compartment to unlatch it from the dashboard.
- 3). Push in both sides of the top of the glove compartment to free it from the dashboard. The glove compartment can now swing further down into the foot area. The filter tray is located behind the glove compartment.
- 4). Push in the tabs on both sides of the filter tray while gently pulling it out. Slide the tray out and away from the dashboard.
- 5). Remove the old, dirty filter and discard.
- 6). Place the new, clean filter into the tray, making sure to orient it correctly, according to the arrows located on the new filter.
- 7). Insert the filter tray back into the dashboard until the clips click into place.
- 8). Swing the glove compartment back up and push in both sides of the top of the glove compartment so that it can slide back into the grooves.
- 9). Snap the safety latch back in to place on the right side of the glove compartment, then close the glove compartment door.
