- 1). Select "Begin a Story" on the Photo Story home screen. Then, click "Next."
- 2). Select and arrange the photos to use in your story--according to how you would like the image story told. To arrange your photos, highlight the photo you'd like to move, then click and drag to the correct position. Click "Next" once you've completed the arrangement.
- 3). Record a narration, if you choose. Confirm that the microphone is connected and configure the settings. If you haven't configured the microphone, click on the "Configure Microphone" link located in the middle of the window. If you choose not to add narration to your photo story, click "Next" and an alert will ask if you wish to continue--click "Yes."
- 4). Add a title and the author's name or a description of your story. You can select a different font, font size and alignment of your text, to the right of each section. Click "Next" once you have finished inputting the text.
- 5). Add music to your photo story by marking the box labeled "Add background music to your story." This will allow you to browse the music file you'd like to add and adjust the volume of your song.
- 6). Click "Browse" to search for the song or music you'd like to add. A pop-up window will appear. Search for the song, highlight it and click "Open." The file will appear in the box. You can preview the music level and photo intervals by clicking on the "Preview Final Story" link.
- 7). Adjust the music volume as needed. Change the number of seconds between each photo. When you are satisfied with the final story, click "Next."
- 8). Choose the video and audio quality of your photo story. There is a description of each type of quality in parentheses to help you choose a preference.
- 9). Save your photo story by giving it a file name. You will see which folder it will save into. You can also save the project for later, if you need to do any edits. This option is located under the area where you save your file.

View your story, create a new one or exit Photo Story.
