Entertainment venues for youth throughout the state of Delaware include water parks, miniature golf, tennis clubs, skating rinks and amusement parks. Free activities for children and families in Delaware range from hiking through Killens Pond State Park and mountain biking along trails at White Clay Creek State Park to waterskiing and swimming at Rehoboth Beach. - The Centre at Delaware State Fair Ice Rink offers skating classes, ice hockey, figure skating and public skating sessions. The ice rink opens from the end of August to the middle of June each year and comes with the skating rink, spectator seating, a restaurant, video arcade and two party rooms. The rink has a variety of party packages available for birthdays, which include private ice time, decorations, pizza and fit bags for seven to 50 guests. Group and private skating lessons are available for children who are at least 3 years old, and the rink offers public and freestyle skates through the afternoon and evening each week.
- Funland is located along the boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach. The amusement park opens from early May until early September each year, and it offers indoor and outdoor children's rides, thrill rides and carnival games. Younger children can ride on the bumper boats, carousel and Ferris-wheel rides or enjoy the play area with a ball pit, slides and air bouncer. Older children can ride on a variety of larger rides or play in the jungle activity area with climbing nets, webs and mazes. Thrill rides include the Sea Dragon, Gravitron, SuperFlip and the Haunted Mansion ride that takes riders through a two-story haunted house filled with scary scenery.
- Youth in Delaware can spend a day at Jungle Jim's. The water park at Jungle Jim's is equipped with six large water slides, a wave pool, children's pool and an activity pool, a lazy river and a rope climber. Children can ride on the bumper boats equipped with water guns, or play a round of 18-hole miniature golf with waterfalls and streams running throughout. Kids can race along one of five tracks in a go-kart, where racetracks are divided by age categories. Two tracks are dedicated to families and youth drivers. Six batting stations are available for kids looking to brush up on their baseball skills, as well as a rock-climbing wall that is 24 feet tall. Jungle Jim's hosts birthday parties with all-day admission for groups of at least 10 people.
