Be Caring, Not Suffocating

When women meet a guy they like, many of them become cling-ons.  They refuse to let the guy out of their sight, want to know what he's up to every moment of the day and get upset if he does anything that doesn't include her.

The guy can get fed up with this pretty fast.  If you're falling in love with him, you need to also respect him.  He is a full and complete human being who doesn't have to suddenly change everything because you've come along.  Show him you care by encouraging the things he likes and showing your interest in his hobbies, all while being able to turn around and do your own thing.

Show Love, Not Obsession

The affection you show him should reflect the amount of time you've been together.  Logically speaking, you can't really claim to be in love with a guy you've had two dates with and if you attempt to do so, he'll just think you're crazy or desperate.

Let your love grow slowly and let it show in tiny increments.  Just your attentive gaze as he speaks to you will show him he holds your interest.  Being able to have fun and laugh at his jokes will also show him how much you enjoy being with him.

Never Say it Before he Does

When it comes to saying it aloud, "I love you" can have disastrous results when premature.  This should be avoided at all cost, especially if you've not had a slow lead up to this.  There should be plenty of "I like" first.

If you're unsure whether enough time has passed, simply leave it up to him to say it.  Show you're receptive, but let him lead the way.
