- 1). Sketch the shape of the horn's funnel. Start with an oval, which will become the opening of the funnel. Create two lines in a triangular shape from the top and bottom of this oval, which will represent the body of the funnel. These lines should be about three or four times the length of the funnel opening. They shouldn't connect at the bottom but should be drawn at an incline that's fairly close to connecting.
- 2). Outline the horn's rubber ball on the small end of the funnel. Start by sketching a circle about the same size as the opening of the funnel. Once the circle is drawn, create indentations into this feature to showcase that it's being squeezed. These pressure points should be on the top and bottom, drawn by making a flattened U-shape on top and upside-down U-shape on the bottom.
- 3). Add details to the drawing. Draw a small rim around the inside of the horn's funnel. Create a tiny square somewhere along the outside of the funnel, too, to make it appear that the metal is polished and shiny.
- 4). Create a blast of sound coming from the opening of the horn's funnel. Draw a series of three to five lines shooting outwards from the horn, making them various lengths. Sketch music notes around these lines or a few small stars. This will showcase that the horn is making sound and just how loud it is.
- 5). Outline the entire drawing with a hard-pressed pencil line. Erase any mistakes, as well as the original sketched lines on the top and bottom of the horn's ball that were reformatted to create the rubber's squeezed indentation marks.
