- 1). Turn the water supply line off to the kitchen sink by turning the valve located under the sink in a counter-clockwise motion.
- 2). Locate the hose for the spray nozzle underneath of the kitchen sink and trace the hose to find where it connects to the base of the faucet. If necessary, use a flashlight to help you track the location of the hose.
- 3). Use an adjustable wrench to unscrew the nut holding the sprayer hose in place at the base of the faucet.
- 4). Position a bucket underneath of the faucet to collect any excess water from the sprayer hose once it is fully detached.
- 5). Remove the old sprayer from the kitchen sink.
- 6). Insert the hose for the new sprayer through the opening in the kitchen sink and connect the hose to the attachment at the base of the faucet. Follow the instructions on the sprayer replacement kit for proper connection and include additional washers or plumbers tape if necessary to secure the connection.
- 7). Turn the water supply to the kitchen faucet back on by turning the main water supply line in a clockwise motion.
