- 1). Launch the Dreamweaver 8 application and open the HTML page in which you want to add a .MOV file.
- 2). Go to the "Insert" menu at the top of the window, expand the "Media" submenu and choose the "Plugin" option.
- 3). Navigate to the location of the .MOV file you want to embed, click on the thumbnail icon and press "Choose."
- 4). Click on the puzzle piece icon to view the "Plugin Properties Inspector" window.
- 5). Enter the pixel width of the .MOV file in the "W" field and the pixel height of the file in the "H" field.
- 6). Click on the button labeled "Parameters."
- 7). Type "autoplay" into the "Parameter" field and "true" into the "Value" field if you want the .MOV file to automatically play when visitors load the Web page.
- 8). Press "OK" to have Dreamweaver 8 automatically create and insert the HTML coding for the .MOV file.
