- 1). Click "Start," then type "Programs and Features," and press "Enter" on your keyboard. Locate Microsoft Office Enterprise from the list of programs, click it and then click "Uninstall/Change." Follow the onscreen instructions to remove the application. If you are successful, the program should be fully uninstalled; however, if the program still remains on your system and you get an error, then close "Programs and Features."
- 2). Click "Start," then type "Installer" and press "Enter." Press "Alt," then click "View" and then "Details." Click the "Subject" check box and enter "340" as the value, then click "OK." Click "View," then "Sort By," and then "Subject." Locate each file that begins "Microsoft Office," then right-click it and click "Uninstall." Repeat this process with each product.
- 3). Click "Start," then type "services.msc" and press "Enter." Locate "Office Source Engine" if it is loaded, then right-click it and click "Stop." Close the Services window.
- 4). Click "Start," then click "Start Search" and type "%CommonProgramFiles%\Microsoft Shared" and press "Enter." Locate "Office12" or "Source Engine"; if either folder exists, right-click it, hold "Shift" and click "Delete."
- 5). Click "Start" and type "C:\" and press "Enter" on your computer. Double-click the "MSOCache" folder to open it, then double-click "All Users" and find any folders that contain "OFFICE" in the file list; right-click each, hold "Shift" and click "Delete."
- 6). Click "Start," then type "%appdata%\microsoft\templates" and press "Enter." Locate "Normal.dotm" and "Normalemail.dotm" and delete both. Press the backspace key on your keyboard, then double-click "Document Building Blocks" and then "Language ID" and press "Enter." Delete the "blocks.dotx." file in that folder and the "Language_ID" file in that folder.
- 7). Click "Start," then type "%temp%" and press "Enter." Press "Ctrl" and "A" simultaneously to select all files, then hold "Shift" and press "Delete" to delete them all. Click "Start," then type "%AllUsersprofile%\Application Data\Microsoft\Office\Data" and press "Enter." Delete "Opa12.dat."
- 8). Click "Start," then type "regedit" and press "Enter." This loads the Registry Editor, in the Registry Editor, you navigate through the settings by clicking "+" icons next to folders. To delete an entry, select it, then click "Edit," then "Delete," and then "Yes" to confirm deletion. Locate the following registry keys and delete them:

Close the Registry Editor and restart your computer. You have now manually removed the Microsoft Office Enterprise edition.
