- 1). Plug the iPod's USB cord into the iPod power adapter. Plug the other end of the USB cord into the iPhone.
- 2). Plug the power adapter into an international power adapter. International power adapters generally come with multiple plug options, so you can use it no matter what country you are in. See ElectricalOutlet.org (link below in Resources) for a country-by-country list of standard voltage. Check the instruction manual if you are unsure about how to use your particular adapter.
- 3). Plug the international adapter into the wall. The iPhone will charge as it normally would in the United States.
