Want to know how to build pecs? It's not that hard-really.
If you've spent a lot of time in the gym following "traditional" advice then you probably beg to differ.
But the truth is that when you do the correct exercises you can see serious increases in muscle mass very fast.
So why don't most workout plans work? They have 2 main flaws: FLAW #1) Focusing on 1 muscle group Common knowledge says that if you want a ripped chest, you should only exercise those muscles.
WRONG If you want to build pecs you will have to burn fat-otherwise you will have a layer of fat covering up any increase in tissue you achieve.
Everybody knows that.
So how do you burn fat? This is where most programs go wrong.
You have to burn it across the entire body--you can't lose fat over just 1 muscle region.
Body fat is evenly distributed across your frame...
which means in order to lose it, you have to lose all of it.
If you just lose the fat across the chest, fat from other part of the body will just move to cover it up.
In other words- you need a TOTAL BODY workout-you can't just do crunches and expect to see serious results.
#2) Not spending enough time under load (TUL) Increasing your TUL is the only way hypertrophy (expanding of the muscle cell) is achieved.
TUL is KEY-but most programs don't focus nearly enough on it.
How do you increase your TUL? The best method is by increasing the number of sets and reps AND lifting a sufficient amount of weight.
Having an astronomical TUL does no good if you are just lifting feather weights.
This is how to build pecs LIGHTNING FAST.
