One voice in your head urges you to eat; while the other one is telling you to stick to your diet...
who should you listen to? Your brain always tells you one thing while your heart says otherwise.
Dealing with these voices took a lot of energy from me.
Hearing one thing and doing the opposite, because you know this voice is the voice of self-destruct.
All these battles between your head versus your rationale which tells you to do different than the known and familiar.
These wars aren't simple.
Every day you want to listen to your head, because that's what you know and are used to.
You want to listen to the voice telling you to keep on with the rich meals, favorite snacks, delicious sweets and nothing else matters.
It isn't easy to put your head back on the right track, making it listen to rationale and reason.
Resist your urges with all your strength, stick to an anemic and unfamiliar diet and going against the voices in your head that keep on saying: "you know yourself better than anyone else, why should you listen to some new diet.
Stick to what you know! It's much better than to change your habits.
" It takes a lot of mental powers to get out of the dark places where we stuck in- unable to move on, get better, grow up, gain more confidence and believe in ourselves.
Not to listen to these familiar sounds running in our head, telling us we need to eat while we know we shouldn't give up.
Take some air, and decide that your urges won`t dictate you what to eat, when to eat and how much to eat.
Listen to the sound of reason, follow it and if you be persistent, you shall get far.
Taking responsibility- as a way of living and as a tool of losing weight: One of the most important things to do in order to succeed is taking responsibility.
I have to decide what's important for me, without giving up myself, without any concession.
Every concession we do to ourselves will eventually make us regret doing so.
We all define ourselves as very responsible people.
Many times it's easier for us to take responsibility for other people's lives, our children or our friends for example.
It's much harder to take responsibility for ourselves though.
So many people live their lives without taking responsibility, blaming anyone but themselves with everything that happens to them or waiting for something to happen to them without making any step towards it.
This subject brings me to the most important thing I can explain - a grown up or a child, learn mostly and the best by imitation.
We as parents or people in general, have to take responsibility and give an example.
If I have a purpose to what I'm saying, I have to show everyone I believe in what comes out of my mouth and I also perform everything I talk about.
Any way else and it won't work.
One of the virtues I see in myself is that I was fat and today I live just like I explain to others; I too eat low calorie food and I too sin every once in a while by eating less healthy foods but I take responsibility for my health and come back to a wise diet and daily workout each and every day.
I made it my lifestyle! In the beginning I asked myself every morning "do I have time for a workout today?" But now I ask "when will I workout today?" and that's all the difference! I invite you to take responsibility for yourself and start today! I recommend reading and learning some more before choosing the right diet for you.
