- 1). Log into your Facebook account by opening your computer's Internet browser, navigating to Facebook (Facebook.com) and entering your username and password. Click "Login."
- 2). Enter the person's name you are searching for in the "Search" box at the top of Facebook's screen. Click the magnifying glass icon to the right of the box to start the search process.
- 3). Scroll through the search results and click the person's name you want to view their "Info" page or click the "Add as Friend" button to send a friend request.
- 1). Log into your Facebook account, if not already logged in, then click the "Search for Friends on Facebook" link (see Resources).
- 2). Enter the person's name or email address you are searching for in the box next to the "Search By Name or E-mail" button. Click the button to start the search process.
- 3). Enter the person's school name and their name in the boxes next to "School Name:" and "Person's Name:," if searching for a person by the high school or other educational institution that they attended. Click the down arrow next to year and select the year the person graduated. Click the "Search for Classmates" button to start the search process.
- 4). Enter the person's name and company name in the boxes next to "Company:" and "Person's Name:," if searching for a person by the company he works for. Click the "Search for Coworkers" button to start the search process.
- 5). Scroll through the search results and click the person's name to view their "Info" page or click the "Add as Friend" button to send a friend request.
