- The Last Resort is located in the mountains of North Georgia, and offers furnished cabins in a variety of shapes and sizes. The resort has been owned and operated by the Hooper family since 1980. The resort does allow pets for a small nightly fee, and it is requested that you notify the resort in advance if you plan to bring a pet. The Last Resort offers both daily and weekly rates.
- The Mistletoe Cabin is a one-bedroom, one-bath cabin with a wooded view, wood fireplace, eat-in kitchen and front porch swing, and is just one of over a dozen individually designed rustic cabins you will find at The Last Resort. Some cabins have a mountain view, and all include kitchen utensils, bath soap, paper towels, a stereo, linens, firewood and dish detergent. The largest rustic cabin, the Aerie, has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and can sleep up to 10 people.
- The resort has 19 deluxe cabins: 12 with one bedroom and one bathroom, four with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, two with three bedrooms and three bathrooms and the largest cabin with five bedrooms and four bathrooms, which sleeps up to 12 people. All deluxe cabins have a kitchen furnished with a microwave, dishwasher, blender, toaster, kitchen utensils, paper towels and a coffee maker with filters. Each deluxe cabin also features a five-person hot tub, satellite TV, bath soap and a gas grill.
- During your stay at The Last Resort, you can enjoy nearby attractions in the Blue Ridge Area. One way to see the area is a ride on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, which you can catch less than five miles from The Last Resort. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy nearby horseback riding, white-water rafting, mountain biking and tubing. Just four miles away, the Swan Drive-In shows current movies in an old-fashioned drive-in setting, complete with a concession stand.
