- 1). Click the Windows "Start" button on your e-mail server and select "Administrative Tools." Click "Exchange System Manager" to open the main console.
- 2). Click the plus sign next to your "Administrative Group" icon on the left. This expands a list of options. Click your organization name, then click the e-mail server name.
- 3). Click the "Mailbox" icon. This shows all the mailboxes in the right detail pane. Click "Run Cleanup Agent." This lists mailboxes that are deleted.
- 4). Right-click the mailbox you want to recover and select "Reconnect." Click "OK" in the opened dialog box. This restores the mailbox to the e-mail server.
