Resetting Through DIC

• 1). Turn the Saturn's ignition to the "On/Run" position, but do not start it.
  
  
• 2). Press the vehicle information button on your Saturn's DIC until the display screen reads "Oil Life Remaining."
  
  
• 3). Press and hold the "Set/Reset" button for five seconds.
  
  
• 4). Observe as the "Oil Life Remaining" returns to "100%"
  
  

Resetting With Gas Pedal

• 1). Turn the Saturn's ignition to the "On/Run" position, but don't start it.
  
  
• 2). Press and release the accelerator pedal three times within five seconds of turning the key to the "On/Run" position.
  
  
• 3). Check the DIC for the "Change Engine Oil Soon" message. If the message is not there, the system is reset. Repeat the process if the message remains.
  
  
• 4). Turn the ignition off and remove the key.
