- 1). Hold the pin remover, screwdriver or nail in place directly beneath the upper door hinge. Tap the remover, screwdriver or nail gently with the hammer until the pin comes out the top of the hinge.
- 2). Hold the hinge pin door stop atop the upper hinge, with the adjustable pad on the door frame side. Slip the pin through the door stop and into the hinge. Tap the hinge gently back into place.
- 3). Open the door to test, and adjust the door stop to your liking.
