- 1). Plug your iPod nano 3G into your computer, using your iPod's USB cable, then open iTunes.
- 2). Locate your iPod in the source pane beneath "Devices" and click on it. This will allow you to view your iPod nano 3G settings and sync media.
- 3). Select the "Music" tab, located toward the top of the window. Here, you'll be able to sync your select songs.
- 4). Click on "Sync Music." You can choose to sync your music or select different playlists, artists or genres. If you choose the latter option, simply browse your music on iTunes and click on your desired selections.
- 5). Click "Apply" when you are ready to begin syncing your music to your iPod nano 3G.

- 4). Click on "Library" in the source pane and choose the "Music" tab.
- 5). Drag songs to your iPod's icon in the source pane. This will add them to your iPod nano 3G.
