Metabolift Side Effects

    Heart Rate

    • The stimulants in Metabolift--guarana and green tea extract--are known to increase the heart rate and blood pressure levels of some people. Taking more than the recommended amount of a weight-loss supplement containing these ingredients, such as Metabolift, will increase the likelihood that you experience these side effects. People with preexisting cardiovascular health issues should consult their physician before using Metabolift.

    Dehydration

    • Dehydration may occur from the use of Metabolift. The stimulants in Metabolift can cause an increase in the amount of water excreted through both perspiration and urination. To avoid becoming dehydrated while taking Metabolift, make sure to increase your daily fluid intake. Be extremely mindful of avoid dehydration if you are on any type of exercise regimen. Dehydration can cause muscle cramping, which can lead to sprains, ligament damage and muscle tears.

    Nausea

    • Nausea is a possible side effect of Metabolift use. Nausea generally occurs when the body is adjusting (gaining a tolerance) to the ingredients in a medication or supplement. The tolerance usually develops quickly, usually within three to four days after taking the first dose. After this time period, nausea experienced from taking Metabolift should be minimal. If nausea continues to occur from taking Metabolift, consider using a different weight-loss supplement.

    Sleep Troubles

    • Using Metabolift may cause sleeping issues, such as insomnia, to occur in some users. To lessen the chance of experiencing insomnia while taking Metabolift, make sure to take the supplement well before you plan to sleep. Minimizing the use of other products that contain stimulants, such as coffee, will also help reduce the chance of having sleep complications while using Metabolift.

    Constipation

    • Constipation is a possible side effect of using Metabolift. This is because Metabolift can increase the excretion of fluids through perspiration and urine excretion. To lessen the chance that you experience constipation while taking Metabolift, make sure to drink plenty of fluids and employ a high-fiber diet. For constipation that is moderate to severe, consider using a laxative or stool softener for relief.
