Kalamazoo is the largest city in southwest Michigan, and brings a decent nightlife selection for its population of more than 70,000. To drink, attend one of five full bars, featuring extensive martini lists as well as a selection of more than 25 draft beers. If you're hungry, Wayside West has a kitchen whose menu features upscale bar food such as burgers, pastas and wraps as well as a variety of appetizers.

Dancing depends on the night, and ranges from country to Top 40. Thursday and Friday nights are DJ dance parties, while Saturday brings in live country acts followed by DJ Creole, spinning pop, rock and R&B. There is also an outdoor patio and a mechanical bull. For special events, the Wild Bull Saloon hosts private parties, and their mechanical bull is for rent.
