- 1). Wrap one layer of duct tape around the body of your cell phone with the sticky side out. Cover the main portion of the body of your phone if the phone is longer than the duct tape width. This piece of tape starts the main body of your phone holder.
- 2). Tape a piece of duct tape from the front of the phone to the back, running it down around the bottom of the phone. Make sure that this piece of tape is sticky side out, like the tape in step 1. This piece of tape starts the bottom of your phone holder.
- 3). Layer a second piece of duct tape over the first one on the main body, with the sticky side facing in. Place a second piece of tape over the tape at the bottom of the holder with the sticky side in. You now have two layers of tape forming a sort of cup that surrounds your phone.
- 4). Cut a piece of tape that measures 3 inches long. Fold the tape in half vertically with the sticky sides touching. This will be the flap that holds your phone in the holder.
- 5). Tape one end of the flap to the top of the back of the holder. Fold the flap over the top of the phone in the holder to see where the end of the flap hits on the front of the holder. Place one half of a Velcro dot pair on the holder at this point, and fasten the other Velcro dot to the underside of the flap. Push the two Velcro dots together to close the case.
