- 1). Click the "Start" or "Globe" button on the Windows 7 PC desktop, and then right-click the "Computer" icon in the menu that appears.
- 2). Click the "Properties" option in the drop-down menu. Note the CPU type displayed in the "System Properties" window that appears.
- 3). Open a web browser and type the URL of the TopBits.com (see Resources) website into the web address bar at the top of the web browser. Press the "Enter" key.
- 4). Find the CPU type noted earlier listed under the "CPU" column in the grid displayed on the TopBits.com website. Then note bus width in bits located underneath the "Address Bus Size" column heading in the same row as the matching CPU type.
