- 1). Park the motorcycle on a level, firm surface. Use a socket from the ratchet set that corresponds with the nut securing the foot peg to the frame.
- 2). Connect the socket to the ratchet by placing the square hole on the socket onto the square stem on the ratchet. Push the socket onto the ratchet until it snaps into place.
- 3). Remove the bolt that secures the foot peg to the frame. Pull the foot peg off the motorcycle's frame.
