Key Start

• 1). Make sure the kickstand on the scooter is up and the rear wheel is off the ground.
  
  
• 2). Sit in the seat and hold your left hand on the steering. Hold down the brake lever at the same time.
  
  
• 3). Place the key in the ignition, and turn it all the way to the right until you hear the engine fire.
  
  

Kick-Start

• 1). Make sure the kickstand on the scooter is up and the rear wheel is off the ground.
  
  
• 2). Place your key in the ignition, and move it to the "On" position. Twist the throttle so that the engine is getting a little bit of gas, but don't turn it more than halfway.
  
  
• 3). Place your foot on the kick-start lever, and slowly push the lever down. Continue this motion, pushing down harder and faster until the engine starts.
