Two Dieting Tips For You

Dieting can be a pain in the butt.
Many dieters fail because they try too hard.
You shouldn't have to try.
Here are two ways to incorporate healthier habits into your life, long term.
Rate your hunger - Moderation is key.
You don't want to starve yourself, but you also don't want to stuff yourself.
You always want to stay in the middle of these two extremes.
So, for now on, check in every one or two hours to see what your satiety level.
Rate it from zero percent to one hundred percent, zero percent being starving and one hundred percent being stuffed.
You want to eat if you are at a satiety level of thirty percent to forty percent.
You want to stop eating when you are at a satiety level of sixty percent to seventy percent.
This will ensure that you are satisfied, not taking in too little or too many calories, and that your metabolic engine keeps humming.
Don't indulge or deprive yourself - Treat yourself.
Junk food and fast food, such as hamburgers, sodas, and candy are high in fat, sodium, and sugar.
This is not a very good combination if you want to lose weight.
You want to cut back on these food items as much as possible, but don't go cold turkey.
Ween yourself off.
Substitute unhealthy food items with healthier food items.
For example, substitute hamburger for a turkey sandwich or tofu burger with low fat cheese.
Have that cheeseburger once a week.
Have a piece of candy.
Have two.
But make sure that you only use it as a reward for healthy eating habits and normal rigorous exercise.
