- 1). Measure the top of your fish tank or holding trap for your fishing kayak. Mark the bottom of the milk crate with the dimensions.
- 2). Saw the milk crate bottom off using the hacksaw. Sand down the edges and rough cuts of the cut-out part of the crate.
- 3). Set the cut out crate piece to the top of the fish trap or holding tank. Use the small bungee cords to secure the cover to the tank or trap. If there are ho lips or holds on the tanks, use the power drill to drill out hook holes to secure the bungees.
- 4). Toss the fish tank over the side of the kayak and secure it to the kayak with the deck straps of nylon cord.
