- 1). Turn off the engine of your vehicle. Lift the hood. Disconnect the battery with a socket wrench.
- 2). Remove the front bar and front reinforcement bar from the stock intercooler. They are held in place by a few bolts. Use a socket wrench to remove the bolts and remove the bar. Remove the top stock intercooler pipe and remove the bolts from stock intercooler. Pull the intercooler out of the engine compartment.
- 3). Place the two spacers that came with the Hybrid intercooler in between the cylinder head and bracket.
- 4). Use a drill to create two holes on the intercooler bracket. These holes need to be 250 mm apart. Trim back the fan-bracket area.
- 5). Place the top brackets included with the intercooler onto the engine compartment. Place the bottom brackets below the top brackets. Use the included bolts to secure them to the engine compartment.
- 6). Drill a hole onto the intercooler pipe and fit the driver side piping into the hole. Bend the chasis tip to fit it onto the intercooler. Place the Hybrid intercooler into the engine compartment. Secure it by installing the accompanied bolts.
- 7). Reinstall the front bar and front reinforcement bar. Connect the battery and close the hood.
