Everyone wants to know how to generate leads for their business.
Some methods are pay-per-click advertising, submitting ads to ezines that are part of your niche market, and placing ads on other people high traffic websites.
However, in this article, I'm going to discuss how to generate free leads for your business.
If you do this right, and your website copy is written/structured appropriately, you could generate 20-30 free leads per week from your article marketing efforts.
Article marketing is one of the best ways for you to generate free leads for your business.
Over the years I have discovered that when you write valuable content for others, you can start a steady stream of leads to flow into your business.
The more articles you write, the more traffic you will receive, and the more free leads you will generate for your business.
More leads equals more sales.
When you arrive at this point in your business, it becomes an extremely free flowing experience for you since you are no longer stressed about not having enough leads to speak with.
Additionally, it gives you enough lead flow for your business that you can share them with your business associates, making their life a lot easier as well as yours.
At this point, you have a stream of leads that can be used to duplicate and grow your organization, and increase your cash flow.
So, how do you use article marketing to generate free leads for your business? Here's the flow path.

Find a reputable company that will post your articles to the search engines for you.
This saves you time and energy so all you have to do is focus on providing valuable content to your readers.

Write valuable content for your niche market.
Do not write articles promoting yourself, your business/products, or other peoples products.
You get enough exposure from the resource box that is provided at the bottom of your articles.
Provide content that assists people in solving their problems.
These are the best type of articles to write.
Whether it be an article that shows them..

- How to increase their portfolio so they have enough income to retire on.
- How to lose weight the right way, and how to sustain the new weight they have achieved.
- How to increase their sales in their organization, and reduce their expenses.
- How to improve their relationships with the people around them, or - How to be more productive in the workplace.
When you create value for others, you are providing an increase in their life.
The more valuable content that is produced, the more your articles will get selected by website owners to use as content on their websites.
The more content you have in the internet, the more free leads you'll be able to generate.
The fact is, many website owners are very busy and simply do not have time to write their own content.
When website owners can select valuable "original" content from your articles, they can offer their subscribers more value in a timely manner.
This is especially valuable when you can provide training material.
If you can provide training material that solves other peoples problems, then everyone benefits.
People will be able to refer to the training anytime they require, and trainers can spend less time on the phone and at events training their organizations.
You can then offer them more valuable content, by placing a opt in form on your website to generate even more free leads from the same amount of traffic.

Make sure you know that your article will show up on the first page of the search engines by ensuring that it the keywords/keyword phrase that you choose is in the title and the body of the article.
For example, I wrote an article on "Should I Place My Child In Daycare" quite awhile ago and it still shows up as the first listing today when the keyword phrase "should I place my child in daycare" is type in the search window.
Before sitting down to write your article, you want to evaluate your keyword or keyword phrase in the search engines to ensure your article will get enough traffic.
This means that you enter your keyword phrase in the search window to determines the popularity of the keyword, and the ability for your article to show up on the first page.
If the keyword is too popular, you will have lots of competition and it will be difficult for your article to show up.
If the keyword is not searched very often, then you will not get much traffic to your web site.
So...
how do you find the "happy medium"? The answer..

When doing your keyword research, review the left hand side of the page after entering your keyword in the search window and hitting the search button.
Be sure the search results for your keyword/keyword phrase are somewhere in the neighborhood of 10,000 -25,000.
Anything higher, and your article will not be listed on the first page.
Anything lower, and your article will not receive enough traffic.
For example; If you enter the keyword "news", it is highly unlikely that you will get a first place ranking on that page of the search engines.
If you use the keyword phrase "breaking news in Vermont", you will likely get the first page ranking, but will receive very little traffic due to the low popularity of the keyword phrase.
On the other hand, if you use the keyword phrase "breaking news in New England", you will have a keyword phrase that covers a broader area, which results in a reasonable amount of traffic, and will likely receive the first page ranking.
