- 1). Take a photo of yourself in a room that does not contain any natural lighting from windows. LED therapy will cause small improvements in the skin that may not be detected daily. A "before" picture will help you see the overall improvements to the skin.
- 2). Cleanse the skin with a good moisturizing or anti-aging cleanser. Pat the skin dry with a clean towel.
- 3). Turn the LED light on and apply it directly on the skin, starting on the left side of the forehead. Leave the LED light in this spot for roughly 3 minutes. Move the LED light to the other side of the forehead for another 3 minutes. Continue to move the LED light around the face until you have treated all areas. Hold the light in each spot for 3 minutes before moving to the next spot. Treating the entire face takes about 30 minutes.
