- 1). Look at your knobs. Do you see a screw? This screw will be unscrewed to release the handle. If you do not see a screw, there is a cover that is for decoration hiding the screw. Simply get your flat end screwdriver, and wedge it in between the knob and decorative disk in the middle of the knob to pry off. Then, remove the screw. Pull the knob toward you to remove.
- 2). Then, push on the new knob, making sure to pay attention to the water temperature indicators. As you face the knobs, plumbing is always set up as hot water on the left, cold water on the right.
- 3). Attach the screw to the middle of the knob, and put any decorative cover that was included onto it. Your new knobs are now finished and ready for use.
