- 1). Cut letter-sized white card stock in half horizontally to make 8.5 by 5.5 inch rectangles. Fold these in half so the card measures 4.25 by 5.5 inches. The carriage invitation is a landscape-style invitation that will have the fold at the top of the invite. Orient the inside lettering accordingly.
- 2). Trace a 3-inch circle from the template onto the colored card stock to make the carriage. Cut it out before you add any decorations. Decorate with glitter, self-adhesive gems, and other embellishments. Draw a door in the center of the carriage. Once the decorations have dried, attach the carriage to the card off-center to the right.
- 3). Using fine-gauge wire, create the wheels and rails of the carriage. To make wheels round, wrap the wire around a spool of thread several times. Fine-gauged wire comes in several colors. Make your invitation unique by choosing a coordinating or contrasting wire color. Make sure that the cut ends, especially on the rails, are folded under so that the sharp edges don't cut anyone as they open the invitation. Attach the wheels and rails to the card with dimensional adhesive.
- 1). Cut letter-sized white card stock in half horizontally to make 8.5 by 5.5 inch rectangles. Fold these in half so that the card measures 4.25 by 5.5 inches. The castle is a portrait-oriented invitation; the fold should be on the left side of the card.
- 2). Create a castle from colored paper that fills most of the card. You may want to create a template so that they are identical. Decorate the castle with pens and embellishments. Make the turrets a contrasting color to the rest of the castle.
- 3). Attach the castle to the invitation card with flat adhesive once the glue, decorations and embellishments are dry. Dimensional decorations like brads and gems make the writing surface on the envelope uneven; it is best to address the envelopes before inserting invitations into them. Place invitations inside the envelopes and mail them.
