- 1). Insert the saw blade with the teeth oriented towards the front of the saw. The back of the blade must rest in the groove of the guide wheel. Push the blade in firmly and it will lock in place.
- 2). Press the red precision control button on the front left of the Bosch jigsaw. This will close the precision control guides against the saw blade. The precision control guides prevent blade deflection during cutting.
- 3). Slide the black blade ejector lever to remove the saw blade. The ejector lever is positioned on the front of the jigsaw, and slides towards the center. Sliding the lever will retract the blade guides and eject the blade.
