- 1). Select one or more photos that you want to upload from Picasa.
- 2). Select "Upload" from the "Tools" menu, and then select "Upload to Picasa Web Albums" from the menu that pops up to the side. You can also click on the "Upload" icon in the row of icons at the bottom of the program window.
- 3). Sign in to Picasa Web Albums, if you are not already signed in. If you don't have a Picasa Web Album account, you will need to create one. The lowest level is free, and if you need to share a large number of photos, there are premium levels at reasonable prices based on the amount of disk space you plan to use.
- 4). Choose your upload options. Select an album (it will create it if it doesn't exist, and defaults to the name of the album where the photo is stored on your hard drive). You can also choose to contribute to someone else's album or upload a photo to your blog at Blogger.com, if you have one. Choose a size to upload. Picasa will resize photos for Web viewing, giving you three options. Specify who can see it and whether you want to share it with anyone. It gives you info on how much space you have left and an option to upgrade to a premium account.
- 5). Click on the "Upload" button to upload your photo or photos. Wait for the Upload Manager to tell you when the upload is done. It gives you an option to view the photos online.
