- 1). Position the side posts so they are equidistant from the center. You want the racket centered over the center of the machine. This will give you a more consistent pulling distance and tension. Once the posts are in place, tighten the posts.
- 2). Position the clamps in the center.
- 3). Find the center of the racket. The top of the racket may have a special marking to indicate the center. If it does not, count the grommets on each side until you get to the center. The throat, bottom-outside of the racket, has grommets. Count them to find the center of the racket's bottom end.
- 4). Align the micro adjusters in the center of the racket's top and bottom ends. Make it snug, but not tight. You want to be able to move the racket around somewhat on the posts, but not enough to twist the racket.
- 5). Set the side posts. Do not set one side first, then the other. Start with either the throat or the head first, as this will ensure that you get equal pressure on both sides. If your mounting system has flat cushions on the side posts, make sure it is positioned directly on the frame, not at an angle. Adjust the posts so they lightly touch the racket --- just enough that the racket cannot twist. Apply less pressure than the center posts. Once the racket is set, tighten the bottom screws on the posts.
- 6). Test to make sure the racket is mounted properly by twisting the racket. If you feel it rocking, you will need to readjust the posts or remount the racket.
