- 1). Lay the cloth over the top of the table and adjust the table so the front edge nearly touches the ground, running parallel to the floor.
- 2). Adjust the cloth so that both sides of the cloth hang down the same distance as each other, then smooth the surface of the cloth.
- 3). Stand at one short edge of the table and place the index and middle fingers of the hand closest to the front edge on the front corner on this side. Slide the fingers of your other hand along the side of the table and out to the back end of the cloth, maintaining a straight line that runs from the front corner, along the side of the table to where you grabbed the back end.
- 4). Fold the back corner forward to the front edge of the table. Smooth the cloth to remove any wrinkles. You will be left with a square-shaped section of cloth lying atop the front corner of the table, with a bit of angled fold emerging from under its back end.
- 5). Place your middle and index fingers back on the front corner, then pull the corner you placed at the front edge back with your second hand. Be sure that, as you fold back, you again create a straight edge along the side of the table. You will now have boxed this side and one side of the front.
- 6). Move to the second short side of the table and repeat the fold to box your second side, and the second side of your front, thus completing your box fold.
