- 1). Double-click the icon for the Flash item you want to alter. The file opens.
- 2). Double-click "Layer 1" and rename it "Animation."
- 3). Click "New Layer" at the bottom left of the timeline panel.
- 4). Click the red playhead in the timeline and drag it to the last frame of the animation.
- 5). Click the "Insert" menu, and select "Timeline" and "Keyframe."
- 6). Click the selection tool -- it looks like an arrow -- and click on the last frame of the animation.
- 7). Place your cursor in the text area next to (line 1) and type: stop();
- 8). Click "File" and "Save" to save the animation. It now no longer runs on an infinite loop.
