- 1). Dry and powder 5 gm of gooseberries and mix with 1 tbsp. honey
- 2). Drink the tonic first thing in the morning. Repeat process daily until the asthma has improved.
The vitamin C found in the gooseberry is effective in treating asthma as it acts as an anti-oxidant and fights the oxidants produced by the lungs during asthma attacks. - 3). Eat raw gooseberries as often as possible throughout the day. Gooseberry are a good source of vitamin A, potassium and manganese, and a very good source of dietary fiber apart from vitamin C.
The vitamin A found in gooseberry is useful in fighting respiratory tract infections (such as asthma).
