- 1). Sign in to Blogger. Click "Design" under the title of the blog for which you want to add category labels. This will open the "Page Elements" section of Blogger's Design settings.
- 2). Click the "Add a Gadget" link at the page location at which you want to display the category labels.
- 3). Scroll to "Labels" in the "Add Gadget" pop-up window. Choose the "+" icon next to the "Labels" heading to add this gadget.
- 4). Click the radio button next to "List" if you want to display the category labels in list format or click the button beside "Cloud" if you would prefer to display the category labels as a tag cloud. You can also choose to display the category labels in alphabetical or frequency order. Click "Save" to store your preferences.
- 5). Select the orange "Save" button in the top-right corner of the page to save your blog settings.
- 6). Click the "Posting" tab in the main navigation menu. Choose "Edit Posts" on the submenu bar.
- 7). Click the blue "Edit" button beside the title of a blog post. This will open the Blogger post editor control panel. Add a label to the post in the "Labels" input field toward the bottom of the post editor. Add as many relevant labels as you want, but separate each label with a comma. Click the "Publish Post" button to republish the post with the label. Repeat this process for each blog post that you want to categorize. Your blog will display posts with the same category label on the same page when a visitor clicks the label in the blog's Labels gadget.
