- 1). Close the Outlook application on your computer.
- 2). Go to the Microsoft Office Outlook Connector for Windows Live Hotmail download page and click on the "Download" button next to the file name "OutlookConnector.exe". Locate the "OutlookConnector.exe" file on your hard disk and double click on it to run the "Setup" program.
- 3). Click on "Open" when the Outlook Connector dialog box prompts you to either save or open the file.
- 4). Click "Run" when the dialog box prompts you to run the software. Select the option to proceed with the installation if a security prompt appears.
- 5). Complete the installation by following the instructions provided by the prompts.
- 6). Configure Outlook Connector the next time you launch Outlook. When prompted, enter your Hotmail email address, password and your name as you wish for recipients to see it.
- 7). Click "OK".
- 8). Access the "Navigation" pane, which is located on the left side of the Outlook window. Your Hotmail account will appear as a folder in the pane. Click on the folder to access your "Inbox" and other Hotmail folders.
