- The standard was the last Corvette to feature the 350 cu in LT1 V8 engine which produced 300 hp and 335 lb. ft. of torque in the iteration. Also available on the standard trim package was the LT4 V8 engine producing 330 hp and 340 lb. ft. of torque.
- The Grand Sport was only offered during the 1996 model year and offered the LT4 V8 engine. The model is distinguished by its Admiral Blue paint with a white racing stripe painted down the center of the vehicle and its black rims and two red stripes above the driver side front wheel well. Only 810 of these coupes were produced.
- The very last of the C4 Corvettes to roll off the assembly line were the Collector Edition. This trim level came equipped with the LT4 V8 engine and was painted in Sebring Silver. Only 4,031 of these coupes were produced.
