- 1). Cut out eight strips of duct tape. These pieces of duct tape should be twice as long as you wish the bow to be. For example, if you want a bow that is three inches in diameter, then you will need to cut each strip six inches long.
- 2). Fold each piece of the duct tape vertically, making the sticky sides of the tape stick together.
- 3). Fold each strip in half and staple the ends together on each strip. Do not crease the folds formed on the eight folded strips.
- 4). Place or stack each folded set of strips on top of one another. Fan the strips out to form the bow for your package.
- 5). Staple the strips in the center of the bow to hold them together and place a square piece of duct tape in the middle of the bow to cover the staple.
- 6). Place the newly created bow on a gift or package of your choice.
