- 1). Attach the blanking bracket with the two screws provided into the blanking bracket holes on the back of the Samsung LCD TV. Use the holder ring if you are installing a wall mount kit from another manufacturer.
- 2). Attach the wall mount to the back of the TV. Measure the distance between the bottom of the TV and the bottom of the wall mount. Use a level to keep your measurement accurate. Measure the full height of the TV and combine these measurements to mark on the wall where the middle of the TV is at eye level when sitting down. Make sure that there is an electrical outlet on this wall or have one installed before mounting the TV.
- 3). Use a stud finder to find the middle of the two studs on which the LCD TV will be mounted. Mark each stud on the wall with a pencil. Use a level to ensure accurate measurements. Remove the wall mount from the back of your LCD TV.
- 4). Your helper should hold the mounting bracket level on the wall, using the markings that you made in Steps 3 and 4. Check the bracket with a level and then drill the wall mount screws (M4-by-L20 wood screws) in on each side only half way. Check the bracket with a level again before you completely put in the screws.
- 5). Hang the TV onto the mount with you and your helper holding each end. Plug in the LCD TV and any other devices that you will use with the TV and check the level of the TV one last time. Make sure if you are using a tilting wall mount that the mount moves and tilts correctly.
