In the northwest part of the Valley of the Sun, the Town of Surprise hosts the annual Surprise Party Holiday Festival to welcome the winter holiday season.

Surprise Recreation Campus is located south of Bell Road on Bullard Avenue, one mile west of Litchfield Road. Here is a map.

Friday, December 6, 2013 from 6 p.m.
to 8 p.m.
Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
What is the schedule of events?
Friday: Hot Air Balloon Glow, Arizona Skyhawks Skydivers, a traditional tree lighting ceremony, live entertainment and fireworks at Surprise Stadium Plaza.
Saturday: Arts and Crafts Festival, Classic Car Show, interactive games, camel rides, petting zoo, clowns, face painters, party hats, carnival, Gingerbread House Contest, live stage entertainment featuring Steppin Into Tomorrow and Gonzology. Concessions will be available for purchase. Surprise Recreation Campus, north of the stadium
How much will it cost to get in?
Free admission with the donation of packaged food, new unwrapped toy or children’s clothing item for Sanderson Ford and Sanderson Lincoln’s “Operation Santa Claus”. Donations will benefit St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance,Ronald McDonald House Charities of Phoenix Inc., the Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center and Military Assistance Mission Arizona. Parking is free. Some activities have a charge.
