- 1). Disconnect the negative battery cable using the appropriate box end or crescent wrench.
- 2). Open the fuel filler cap.
- 3). Locate the fuel filter. It is on the rear passenger's side, under the back seat and perpendicular to the edge of the vehicle.
- 4). Use the L-shaped wrench to remove the clamp, fuel filter cap, bracket and fuel filter cover.
- 5). Remove all brackets mounted to the fuel filter.
- 6). Use the fuel line removal tool to remove the lines from the fuel filter. Plug these using the pencils to prevent fuel leakage.
- 7). Replace the old filter with the new filter, removing the pencils and reattaching the fuel lines.
- 8). Reattach all brackets, clamps, caps and covers.
- 9). Replace the fuel filler cap.

Wash your hands thoroughly and reattach the negative battery cable. - 11
Crank the vehicle and check for fuel leakage.
