- 1). Add 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar a day to your pet’s drinking water to repel fleas from the inside out. Alternatively, give your pet apple cider vinegar supplements.
- 2). Fill a plastic container with equal parts water and apple cider vinegar. Add a few drops of liquid dish soap and stir it with a spoon. Comb your pet with a flea comb. Swish the comb in the vinegar mixture after each pass to remove fleas along with their eggs and larva.
- 3). Mix several drops of apple cider vinegar into your pet's shampoo and bathe your pet as you normally would. Alternatively, bathe your pet in flea shampoo and rinse with equal parts water and apple cider vinegar.
- 4). Fill a clean spray bottle with equal parts apple cider vinegar and water. Mist your pet’s fur with the solution and towel your pet dry.
