Measure and add your ingredients. The type of bread recipe you are using will determine the ingredients, though several ingredients are common in all breads, such as yeast. Add the yeast last and pour it into a previously dug hole in the ingredient mixture. All ingredients should be added to the baking pan. - 3). Choose your bread maker settings. After closing the lid and plugging your bread maker in, you will hear a "beep" and the LED display screen will light up. Choose the program option on your bread maker that is appropriate for your recipe. Once your program is chosen, select the crust color you desire for your bread. The low setting is for a lighter crust and the high setting produces a darker crust. Once you chose your settings, push the start/stop button.
- 4). Keep your bread warm. The baking time depends on your bread recipe. However, at the end of the baking cycle, the heater will remain on for 60 minutes. This is referred to as the "keep-warm" cycle. You can opt to turn the feature off at any time once your bread is done baking. When your bread has reached its desired warmness, press the stop button for two to three seconds to turn off this feature.
