- 1). Click "iTunes Store" in the left side menu of the iTunes program, or click the Store menu at the top of iTunes and click "Home."
- 2). Click "Music" in the iTunes Store's window, and click "iTunes Plus" on the right side menu in the iTunes Store window.
- 3). Click the song in the list of available DRM-protected songs in the iTunes Plus window, then click "Buy."
- 4). Type your iTunes's account password in the pop-up purchase confirmation window. Click "Buy" to confirm the upgrade to start the download.
- 5). Click "Move to Desktop" or "Delete Files" in the pop-up prompt to save the existing DRM-protected song in your library or push it to the trash.
