Fill a bucket with 1 gallon of warm water. Add 1 tablespoon of dishwashing detergent. - 3

Dip a soft-bristled scrub brush into the dishwashing detergent solution. Scrub the aluminum siding from the bottom up. Rinse the brush with the hose as mud is removed. Apply more detergent solution and continue to scrub. - 4). Rinse the aluminum siding with the hose. Treat any remaining red mud stains by washing the siding with a solution made from 1 gallon of warm water and 4 ounces of trisodium phosphate (TSP).
- 5). Protect your hands and eyes by wearing rubber gloves and goggles. Dip the scrub brush in the TSP solution. Scrub remaining the red mud stains until they're removed. Start at the bottom of the siding and move upward to avoid drip marks.
- 6). Spray the aluminum siding with hose water to rinse off the TSP solution. Dry the siding with clean cloths.
