- 1). Open the hood and locate the adjustable pulley tensioner on the left hand side of the air conditioner compressor.
- 2). Loosen the lock nut in the center of the adjustable pulley with a ratchet and a socket.
- 3). Turn the adjustment bolt at the top of the adjustable pulley counter clockwise to loosen the belt.
- 1). Locate the adjustment bracket that is attached to the alternator. Loosen the lock nut in the center of the adjustment bracket with a ratchet and a socket.
- 2). Loosen the belt by turning the adjustment bolt at the end of the adjustment bracket counter clockwise with the ratchet and socket.
- 3). Pull the belt out of the alternator pulley, water pump pulley and the crankshaft pulley.
- 1). Locate the adjustment bracket on the front of the power steering pump. Loosen the lock nut from the center of the adjustment bracket with a ratchet and a socket.
- 2). Turn the adjustment bolt on the end of the adjustment bracket counter clockwise with the ratchet and socket to loosen the belt.
- 3). Remove the belt from the power steering pump pulley and the crankshaft pulley.
