- 1). Install the amp meter using 10-gauge electrical wire for a 30 amp meter, 8-gauge wire for 60 amp meter and 6-gauge wire for 100 amp meters.
- 2). Install the amp meter inside the vehicle, so that you can monitor the meter while the engine is running. Mount the amp meter using zip ties or mounting clips and screws. Route the wires through the passenger compartment firewall, so that you can wire them to the amp meter inside the vehicle.
- 3). Wire the positive wire of the amp meter to the positive terminal of the HHO generator and wire the negative wire to the ground of the vehicle. This amp meter will allow you to measure the amperage of your HHO system, so you will know when the system is charging a high voltage, or when the solution should be cleaned.
